Three ladies with a love of bluegrass harmony, a fiddle solo, banjo picking, knittin', the kin folk, harbouring fantasies of moonshine on a pine slope, pickin' radishes amongst the nettle, and story mongering. Drawn in by the language and the imagery of these songs and brought together by fate from different shores of this continent, Dear Cedar pick up the threads of their Irish and Scottish musical inheritance where it becomes Appalachian mountain music.
